Reimbursement Information

Conference Costs and Financial Aid

The conference will sponsor the cost of food for all participants and hotel costs for undergraduate students and guest speakers. Additional financial aid for travel costs may be available, but we request that you ask your home institutions for support before applying for aid. Provided below is a summary of conference goals and costs that may be useful when asking for aid from your home department, Dean's office, or other institution.

Travel Reimbursement

Participants may apply for travel reimbursement up to $150. Please still arrange and pay for your travel yourself, and we will reimburse you after the conference. If this is a problem for you, please let us know. Please save all itemized receipts for submission so we can reimburse you.

Plane: We will reimburse each plane ticket to up to $150

Car: We encourage carpooling. We will reimburse each car load of participants up to $150. The reimbursement depends on the total number miles you will be traveling.

Undergraduates will be provided with hotel accommodations at the University Inn in downtown Santa Cruz.

Friday night's registration and welcome registration will also be held at the University Inn
